Inventory and infrastructure management

In order to know the characteristics and condition of the road infrastructure, an easily accessible system has been developed that allows to identify and geographically locate each element of the road, and enter data on the geometric, physical and condition characteristics of each of them.

The data collection system is carried out in motion and collects information through a programmable inventory keyboard, which together with a film camera, a GPS, and a laptop allow to visualize the information at the end of the day of work in the field, allowing immediate decision making. The system is designed to enable the bidding of maintenance, rehabilitation or reconstruction works once the inventory has been carried out. As an added value, the system accesses traffic data that projects daily or annual traffic counts.
